Application Programming to Specifications

• Design and code application programs in accordance with specifications
• Test (including test data preparation) and debug programs
• Document and maintain programs
• FCN will require contact with designers to clarify specifications.

Application Analysis, Design and Programming

• Design programs, including detailed database specifications and human interface design
• Prepare detailed specifications for programming, creation and modification of user procedures, planning and control of acceptance testing.

  Friendship Computer/Netdata will require user contact and other research to discover details of an existing system or determine needs for new development. Work may require an understanding of a particular business area.

Technical Support

• Answer specific questions or provide advice regarding application design
• Audit application designs and conduct performance evaluations
• Support design of system architecture
• Evaluate choices, recommend best approach
• Diagnose problems in technology system development and operation, recommend solutions

Technical Consultation

• Input on the design of full Information Technology systems
• Assistance with long-term strategic planning.

Application Technical Design

• Design, normalize, implement and maintain all components of an application, including data voice communication software, hardware and networks, operating system, multimedia devices, etc.
• Create procedures for data security and back-up & recovery: database
• Select, test and trouble shoot software and hardware
• Deconstruct applications into subsystems, evaluate alternative designs
• Plan and conduct system integration and performance testing

Information System Technical Infrastructure Design

• Evaluate design of Information System infrastructures, recommend changes
• Develop long-term Information System strategies in keeping with the mission of the enterprise
• Evaluate the use of Information Technologies for strategic advantage
• Define criteria for setting development priorities, determine implementation timetables and evaluate alternative solutions
• Collect information and present findings, working with groups of the client’s employees (users and Information Systems personnel) as appropriate

Team Leadership

• Plan and schedule work, estimate costs, allocate and minor tasks
• Verify deliverable products
• Resolve problems and control the scope of projects
• Track progress, report status, exceptions and other information to individuals designed by client

Project Management

• Assure compliance with SBA 1 Quality System
• Manage the project planning team
• Manage the risk and scope of the project
• Resolve problems

• Verify deliverable products
• Audit projects and manage turnaround of out-of-control projects
